Produced: 1976-1981
Name: „Любитель-166“
Producer: LOMO
Lens: Triplet-22   4.5/75
Shutter: 1/15, 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/250 + B.

Quantity:    69.120 units.

Initial name - LOMO-166 (1976).

Modernized Lubitel-2 camera with new body design, "hot shoe" and frame counter on the side-plate. Unsuccessful LOMO's 2nd attempt to release TLR camera with frame counter (1st attempt was earliest version of Komsomolets camera, 1946-1947). Though many Lubitel-166 cameras have soviet "Sign of Quality" on body, the particular camera was very problematic and capricious indeed. Replaced by simplified camera (without frame-counter) Lubitel-166B in 1981.

PK1505. Seems to be an earliest known preseries version of Lubitel-166 camera. Totally new body (in comparison with Lubitel-2 camera), frame counter on the side-plate. "Hot Shoe" on another side-plate. Serial number stamped on the bottom plate, memo disk placed on the rear door (see PK1505 below). There's no LOMO logotype on the waist lever finder yet.  Announced on Sovietskoe Foto magazine No. 4, 1979. Never happened to see this version alive.

PK1520. Very nice and uncommon anniversary camera, dedicated to Moscow Olympic Games (1980). Specially designed nameplate with bilingual markings in Cyrillic and Roman characters as well as "LOMO" logotype. Special logotype "MOSCOW-1980" on the waist lever finder. And an extremely nice lens cap with "Misha" silhouette on it. A limited batch of these cameras released by LOMO in 1979-1980.
