Very interesting and rare sample of the particular camera. The top plate is chromed, not painted in "metal-like" imitation as on regular Crystall cameras (see picture below). Camera below from private collection in China.

Probably an earliest version of prototype Crystall-2 camera. Top panel painted in chromed brass, body in chromed aluminium. Fitted with prototype Vega-1 2.8/50mm lens (just take a look at an extremely nice serial number #000001!). An ultra rare to find nowadays.

Another prototype Crystall-2 has surfaced, with selenium meter as used on the future Zenit-E. Grey-green hammertone paint; black artificial leaher covering. Crystall-2 logo engraved under the meter cell. No serial number on body yet. An ultra rare to find nowadays.
